Graveside services for James Edward Clark were held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at 11 a.m. from Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of McClain-Hays Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Barnett officiated.

Mr. Clark, 78, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, in Rush Hospital in Meridian.

He was born in Millington, Tenn. He moved to Neshoba County early in life where he made his home most of his life. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley McDonald of Meridian and Jean Dickerson of Decatur; two sons, Walter Ronald Clark of Meridian and Ronald Gussie Clark of DeKalb; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita Gray, Audrey Nell Adkins and Dora Rivers, all of Philadelphia; and one brother, Wilbur Clark of Belzoni.

Pallbearers were Stuart Shaw, Tracy McDonald, Chris McDonald, Ronald Crabtree, Jerry Ward, Jerry Posey, Jason Hendon and Scotty Barrier.
