Agnes Elaine Bartelt Age 94, of Richland Center and formerly of Blue River, passed away on September 25th 2020 at the Pine Valley Community Village. She was born in Stillman Valley, Illinois on March 27th, 1926 to Axel and Anne (Olson) Peterson. She married Ransom Bartelt and they had 8 children. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed canning vegetables for her family and embroidering table clothes and pillowcases. After her children were grown she worked at a turkey processing plant in Hubbard, Minnesota.
She is survived by her daughters; June Straight of Richland Center, Barbara Dunaway of Macon, Missouri, and her sons; Warren Bartelt of Eau Claire, and Randy of Green Bay. Grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ransom, daughter Violet Lucas, sons; Robert, Charles and Wayne, her parents, her siblings; Edith Downing, Marie Womack and Gus Peterson.
Private graveside services will be held at the Viroqua Cemetery.
