Robert Dayne Bartelt, age 68 of Richland Center passed away on Wednesday afternoon February 3rd, 2016 in Richland Center. He was born on April 6, 1947 at Beloit, Wisconsin to Ransom and Agnes (Peterson) Bartelt. The family lived in Rockford, Ettrick, Boscobel and Orfordville, WI. The last few years Robert has made his home with his mother in Richland Center.
Robert is survived by his mother, Agnes Bartelt of Richland Center, two sisters; Barbara (Clifford) Dunaway of Macon, MO., June Straight of Richland Center, three brothers; Warren (Susan) Bartelt of Eau Claire, Wayne Bartelt of Taylor, Randy (Ramona) Bartelt of Elk Mound, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Violet Lucas, and a brother, Charles “Charlie” Bartelt.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 8th, 2016 at theThorson Funeral Home in Viroqua with Tricia King of Home Health United officiating. Burial will be in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
