Audrie M. Andes passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at The Groves.

Audrie was born on Nov. 15, 1918, the 9th child born to John and Myrtle Andes in Lebeck, Mo. Audrie worked as secretary for the Jackson County superintendent of schools for 20 years and retired from Santa Fe Stake after 21 years. Audrie enjoyed traveling and visited all fifty states, South America and several islands. She was active in the Stone Church choir and sang in the Messiah Choir for many years. She was a member of Waldo Ave. Restoration Church.

Audrie was proceeded in death by her sisters and brothers; Orral Estavan Andes, Gladys Marie Andes-Preston, Hollis Royal Andes, Maybel Blanch Andes, Leola Inez Andes- McCarty, Fern Donis Andes, Velma Lucille Andes-Frisbey, and Leo Ellis Andes.

She is survived by a brother, Ivan Andes and wife, Mabel and a sister-in-law, Mary Andes, all of Independence and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at The Groves Community Room. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Sunshine Center.
