ANDES – JOHN WILLIAM ANDES, 81, of 812 West Kansas, Independence, died yesterday at the home. In March, 1946, he and his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Andes, observed their golden wedding anniversary. He was born in Virginia and had been a resident of Independence twenty-seven years.
He was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saint Church. Besides his wife, he leaves four sons, Orral E.Andes, 414 South River, Independence; Hollis R. Andes, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; Ivan L. Andes, 401 West South, Independence, and Leo E. Andes, 418 East Sea, Independence; six daughters, Mrs. Gladys Preston, 807 ½ West Kansas; Mrs. Leola McCarty, 1344 South Hocker, Independence; Mrs. Velma Frisbey, route No. 3, Independence, and Miss Maybel Andes, Miss Audrie Andes and Miss Fern Andes of the home; a brother, Jake S. Andes, route No. 3, Independence, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Cool, Temple City, Calif
