Beth Ann Sherek
March 18, 1964 - October 3, 2020

Beth Ann Sherek
Beth Ann (Hoselton) Sherek was born March 18, 1964, in Oklahoma City to Gordon and Georgie (Turner) Hoselton. She passed away Oct. 3, 2020, in El Reno.

Beth attended El Reno High School and graduated in 1982. She married the love of her life, James Sherek, on Nov. 9, 1985, at First Church of the Nazarene in El Reno. Together the two of them enjoyed spending time together and going on drives. From their marriage came their beautiful, miracle daughter, Georgie.

Beth loved being a wife and mother. When Georgie was growing up, she coached softball, was a Girl Scout leader alongside her two best friends for 12 years, and was active in Relay for Life. Not only did she love to serve her daughter, but other children as well. She worked hard to help others and loved everyone she met.

Beth loved spending time with her family doing just about anything, from playing cards, to going to Stillwater to see her daughter perform, and going to OSU football games. On Monday nights she enjoyed watching wrestling and snuggling with her dog, Abby. Beth will be greatly missed by all of those she knew and loved.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, James Sherek; daughter, Georgie (Sherek) Duncan and husband, Justen; her mother, Georgie Turner Hoselton; brothers, Martin and Gordon β€œSonny” Hoselton; nieces, Jennifer Hoselton, Jodi Ramsey, Jessica Hoselton, Chesley McPherson and Robin Reed; and her nephew, Gordon β€œBud” Hoselton.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Rhonda Hoselton, and her father, Gordon Hoselton.

A graveside service to honor the life of Beth was held on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, at Niles Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
