When Leo Erwin Green was born on April 22, 1903, in Orange, Michigan, his father, Almeron, was 37 and his mother, Lydia, was 36. He had five brothers and seven sisters. He died on May 13, 1971, in Battle Creek, Michigan, at the age of 68.

Leo E. Green was dead on arrival at Lakeview General Hospital after being stricken at home.
Mr. Green retired in 1951 from the Clark Equipment Company where he worked 30 years as a machine operator.
Surviving are his widow, the Former Zelma D. Fox; a son, Arthur L. Green: a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marlene) Milvourn; a sister, Mrs Evelyn Brodock of Battle Creek.
