Helen Audrey (Moman) Lentz, 92, of Horton, KS passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2005, at the Horton Community Hospital.
She was born August 21, 1912, in Horton, the daughter of Phillip Edwin and Mary Susan (Cress) Moman.
Helen was a member of the First Christian Church in Horton. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Duane "PeeWee" and Donna Lentz, Horton; a daughter and her husband, Jo and Glenn Chamberlain, Everest; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She married Clifford Wayne "Boob" Lentz on Feb. 18, 1928, in Hiawatha. He passed away on January 20, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Ray, Jack, Bill(Boyd), Dude (John) and George Moman; and three sisters, Florence Willis, Lila Winterscheidt and Myrtle Hiatt.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Horton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Helen Lentz Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date.
