George Edwin Moman
(June 26, 1902 - June 8, 1981)

George Edwin Moman, 78, of Kalamazoo, Michigan has passed away Monday, June 8, 1981.

He was born on June 26, 1902, the son of Mary Susan (Cress) & Phillip Edwin Moman.

He & Edna Frances Kiefer were married and had only one child, Mary Ellen Moman.

Uncle George was married three times. His second wife was named Mary Louise Benson, later Whetham, then his third was Mary's sister, Doris Benson, later Cooper.

Left to mourn Uncle George is his daughter, Mary Ellen & her husband Bud Chamberlin of Vancouver, Washington; two brothers of Horton, Kansas, Ray Clarence Moman & wife Mabel (Allen); Jack B. Moman & wife Edna (Kackler); two sisters, Florence Lenore (Moman) Willis, Helen Audrey (Moman) & husband Wayne Lentz, also of Horton; a granddaughter, Linda Chamberlin Cassidy of Vancouver, Washington, sister-in-law, Beulah "Pinky" (Strine) Moman; and many nieces & nephews.

He lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan at the time of his death where he'd made his home for many years. But made several trips a year to Horton, Kansas where he was raised & most of his brothers and sisters lived. He was a very special man. Missed by all of us.

Loved ones preceding him are his parents, two brothers, Boyd William "Bill" Moman, & John Dewey "Dude" Moman, Sr., both of Horton; Myrtle Elsie (Moman) Hiatt of Trenton, Missouri; & Lila May (Moman) Winterscheidt, of Horton.

Burial was in the Horton Cemetery.
