Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Zinker was born in Rock Hill, a daughter of the late Harry Victor and Mary Moser Sturgis. She graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in library science. Mrs. Zinker was a member of Quinby United Methodist Church, where she was the financial secretary and pastoral secretary. She was also actively involved with the United Methodist Women and was a trustee of the church. She was formerly involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
Surviving are her husband, Harry L. Zinker of Quinby; two sons, George (Debbie) Zinker of Florence and David (Vicky) Zinker of Timmonsville; five sisters, Esther Senn of Union, Nancy Philips and Celeste Sturgis, both of Rock Hill, Kathie (Ray) Robinson of Laurel, Md., and Jackie Hoke of Quinby; and three grandchildren, Bradley Watts, Matthew Watts and Alyssa Adee.
