Son of George W. Minor and Mary E. Holt, husband of Nora L. Pauline Hodges, whom he married on April 2, 1895 in Oconee, Georgia, and from whom he was later divorced, and father of Harry Jether Minor (married Andrew James Cooper).

In 1900, Daniel C. Minor, aged 30, a farm laborer, widowed, born March 1870, in Georgia, was living in Garner, Gwinnett, Georgia, in the home of his widowed mother, Mary E. Minor, aged 60, born July 1839 in Georgia, a farmer, with siblings, Cora Minor, aged 28, born March 1872 in Georgia, Charles E. Minor, aged 26, born July 1873 in Georgia, a farm laborer, Augustus G. Minor, aged 24, born March 1876 in Georgia, a farm laborer, Sidney Minor, aged 22, born March 1878 in Georgia, a farm laborer, and Enfaula Minor, aged 21, born February 1879 in Georgia.

Obituary - D.C. Minor, aged 45 years, died last night at 8 o'clock at a private sanitorium. He is survived by his wife, two children, three brothers and two sisters. The body is at Poole's Chapel.
