She was born Aug. 27, 1916, in Coshocton, Ohio, to Patrick Joseph and Maude E. Caley White. She married Carl Lewis Turner on Oct. 27, 1947, in Covington, Ky. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1989.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one son, John (and Kathy) Turner of Morton; two daughters, Marilyn Shelton of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jacklyn (and Kevin) Fugitt of Mapleton; four grandchildren, Angela (and Scott) Gilles and Kristofor (and Emily) Turner, all of Morton, Jesse (and Abby) Fugitt of Oswego, Ill., and Joshua Fugitt of Mapleton; one great-grandson, Kyle Gilles of Morton; three sisters, Margaret Adams of Oakmont, Pa., Bonnie Honabarger of Warsaw, Ohio, and Winifred (and Ben) Lahna of Plainfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Bernadine was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton.
She enjoyed reading and watching Major League Baseball games, especially the St. Louis Cardinals.
Cremation will be accorded. A family graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
