Lillie was born about 1857. She was married to Samuel P. Beam on November 20, 1879 by the minister of the United Brethren Church in Littlestown, PA. In 1880 they lived in Mt. Joy Township, Adams County, PA where he worked as a blacksmith. They had a daughter Effie (1882- ). Lillie was buried in the now defunct Mt. Zion United Brethren Chapel cemetery in Mt. Joy Township. [The church, in extreme northwest Mt. Joy Township, built in 1869, was torn down in 1897. ]
