Native of Wilton Succumbs After
Suffering Stroke of Apoplexy
Mrs. Nellie Miller, 56, 1578 Washington street, died at her home at 3 p.m. Monday after a short illness. Mrs. Miller suffered a stroke of apoplexy at her home at 8 a.m. Monday.
Nellie Lang was born March 8, 1877 at Wilton, the daughter of Nichola and Margaret Lang. She had spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was married to Dr. W. J. Miller April 27, 1907 at Wilton. Mrs. Lang was a member of the Evangelical church of Wilton.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. L. C. Harris, El Paso, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. R. B. Herr, Muscatine; five brothers, Benjamin, Louis, and Will Lang, Wilton, Henry Lang, Muscatine, George Lang, Grandview. A brother, Albert, died 38 years ago.
The body is at the Hoffman Funeral home where it will remain pending funeral arrangements.

In 1907 Dr. Miller was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Lang, who was born in Muscatine county in 1877, a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret (Leberknicht) Lang, both natives of Germany.
Mrs. Lang is deceased, but the father is still living in this county. To Dr. and Mrs. Miller one child, Kathrine M., has been born, her natal day being March 5, 1908.
