Their son, Jasper Howard Woody Sr., and daughters, Lessie Woody Kennedy, Lillian Russell Woody McInnis and Reba Woody Scroggins, are also buried in Garden of Memories. Their son, Merrill T. Woody, is buried in Guiceland Cemetery. Their daughter, Addie Lou Woody Huffman, is buried in Broyles Chapel Cemetery. Will died at his home in Elkhart, TX.

OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Sunday, 9 July 1961:

Funeral services for Will J. Woody, 86, of Elkhart, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Hassell & Foster Chapel, Palestine. Rev. Charles Crim of Elkhart will officiate and burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Elkhart.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Woody died following a long illness at 11:50 p.m. Friday at his home. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 1 1875, but had been a resident of the Elkhart area for about sixty years. Mr. Woody was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are four sons, J. H. Woody of Elkhart, Fred Woody of Palestine, Merrill Woody of Tennessee Colony, W. J. Woody of Clute; eight daughters, Mrs. Ima Dunnahoe and Mrs. Addie Lou Huffman, both of Palestine, Mrs. Ruby Pate, Mrs. Lessie Kennedy, Mrs. Annie Maude Henson, Mrs. Verna Scroggins and Mrs. Geraldene Davis, all of Dallas, Mrs. Lillian McInnis of Elkhart; 35 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
