Lillan was the daughter of Will J. and Hannah Jane Nelms Woody. Her parents are also buried in Garden of Memories. She shares a stone with her husband, Buddy Joe McInnis, who she married 11 July 1936. They were the parents of Billie Sue McInnis Hackett and Benny Joe McInnis.

Graveside services for Lillian Russell McInnis, 91, of Elkhart will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Bill Gernenz and Perry Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mrs. McInnis died Monday at Cartmell Home for Aged.

She was born April 24, 1915, to Will J. and Hannah Nelms Woody.

Mrs. McInnis was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Buddy Joe McInnis on August 16, 2005. She is survived by her daughter Billie Sue Hackett and husband Rollon of Channelview; a son Benny Joe and wife Gail of Elkhart; a brother W. J. Woody of Liverpool, TX; six grandchildren, Tammye Cox, Shelly Franklin, Rollon Hackett Jr., Dean McInnis, Darren Hackett, and Jason McInnis; and 12 great-grandchildren.Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster, Palestine.
