Lottie "Faye" Bain Walden, age 85 passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 in the Canterbury Place Assisted Living Center in Dyersburg, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 26, 2020, in the Maranatha Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Smartt officiating, and burial to follow in the Trinity UMC Cemetery, Nutbush, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in the Maranatha Baptist Church.

Faye was born on September 4, 1934 in Haywood County to John and Ina Welch Bain. Faye started working at age 18 as Deputy County Clerk for Haywood County then with Gates Bank & Trust where she retired as Vice President. Even though she was a career woman, she was still very involved in the family tomato business. She loved her family more than anything and in the last hours of her life, she spent an hour praying for her family. She was a charter member of Maranatha Baptist Church where she was very involved in the children's ministry. She loved the Lord and lived her life walking by faith. She led many people to the Lord, with the last one being when she was 83 years old.

She is survived by two sons, Jack Lynn Walden, Jr. (Tilda) of Dyersburg, TN and Harvey Walden (Darlene) of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Sally Diane Manuel of West Warwick, RI and Lee Anne Witmer (Tim) of Joelton, TN, and her sister in law, Layvonne Bain of Gates, TN. She leaves a legacy of fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lynn Walden, Sr.; her parents, John Iverson and Ina Welch Bain; two brothers, John Welch Bain and Walker Neal Bain, and one sister, Billie Carrol Bain Wesson.

Pallbearers for the service include: Jack Alex Walden, Patrick Walden, Jeff Snow, Russell Bain Walden, Mark Manuel, Jonathan Smartt, and Daniel Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maranatha Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 52 Woodville Rd., Ripley, TN 38063. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
