Linton Hall Sammons, 74, died Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. in the Bailey Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Raleigh Hooper officiating. Burial will be in the Elkhart Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. Sammons was a native of Anderson County and resided on Route 2, Elkhart. He was a farmer and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Junie Mae Rogers and Mrs. T. C. Bynum, both of Palestine, and several nieces and nephews.
