AN EMPIRE CITIZEN DEAD.
Geo. T. Bramble, who was operated upon this forenoon by Drs. Scoles, Green and Morrison, for necrosis of the bone, died this afternoon.
Mr. Bramble was a highly respected citizen who had lived in Empire for fifteen years or more. We hope to be able to print an appropriate obituary notice tomorrow.

George T. Bramble an old and well respected citizen of Empire, died late yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Bramble has been a long sufferer from necrosis of the bone, and yesterday forenoon underwent the operation of curreting the tibia, by Drs. Green, Morrison and Scoles. Funeral occurred at 2 p.m. today.

The funeral of the late G. T. Bramble took place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence in Empire City and the remains were followed to their last resting place in Oak Hill cemetery by a large concourse of friends.

The groom is one of the leading merchants Empire City and is well and favorably known to the citizens of this section, having resided here for a number of years. The bride is a stranger to us. She came from Austin, Texas, where she has resided for sometime and where she is considered by all who know her an estimable lady, in every way worthy to become the companion of our neighbor, Mr. Bramble. We wish the pair every joy in their new life.
