Mrs. Maude Estelle Allen, 68, resident of Lake Charles for the past 33 years, died at 8 P.M. Monday at the family residence on the DeRidder highway. She was the wife of E.J. Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Tuesday at the Hixson funeral home. The Rev. Harmon Baggett and the Rev. Danna Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen, who was born February 17, 1881, in Attala County, Miss., has been ill for about three years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband; a brother, J.S. Dubard, also of Lake Charles, and five nephews and two nieces.
