J. S. Duburd* Of Moss Bluff Dies at Home
MOSS BLUFF(Spl) J. S. Duburd*, 73, a resident of Moss Bluff, died Friday night at his home.
He was a retired bus driver and a former employe(sic) of Gulf States Utilities company at the time they owned the Lake Charles Transit system. A native of Attalla, Mississippi, he had resided in the Lake Charles area for 47 years.
Funeral services are to be held Sunday at the Hixson funeral home chapel with Rev. ? D. Copeland, pastor of the Moss Bluff Baptist church, officiating. Burial is to be in the Graceland cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Delma Duburd* of Moss Bluff; four sons, Curtis and John Duburd* of Lake Charles, Charlie Duburd* of Holmwood and George Duburd* of Moss Bluff; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
