Julius Edward Farrish, age 89, of Acworth, GA., formerly of Vaiden, died of heart failure December 22, 2004, at Wellstar Community Hospice in Acworth, GA. He was a former member and deacon of Vaiden Bapitist Church where he also served on various committees. Mr. Farrish served on the Carroll County Farmers Administration Board for a number of years.

Mr. Farrish was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Hazel "W. H." Farrish; a sister, Ruth Killebrew; and two brothers, Elton Farrish and George Farrish.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Mae Ferguson Farrish of Acworth, GA; daughters, Janice F. White of Acworth, GA, Brenda F. Robinson of Belmont; sisters, Rebecca Hitt and Shirley Edwards, both of Greenwood; brother, Robert G. Farrish of Olive Branch; three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
