Judge is the name everyone knew him by. He is the son of Henry Green Bell and Abby Brookins. Abby Brookins is the daughter of Abner and Mary Sapp Brookins. Abby and Henry Green Bell never married. Abby's mother Mary Sapp Brookins raised Judge. DNA results taken by my brother has proved that his father was Henry Bell Brookins.

Abby got pregnant by Henry Green Bell when she was a housekeeper at the Bell home in Burke County, Georgia before the family moved his family to Bulloch County, Georgia. Abigail Brinson Bell the wife of Henry Green Bell had many children and needed help around the house so she hired her neighbor Abby Brookins. Abby Brookins and Henry Green Bell was romantically involved with each other and Abby got pregnant by Henry. Abigail Brinson Bell found out and fired Abby. I am Judge's g-granddaughter. My father, John Brookins was raised by Judge because his own father, John William Brookins (Judges son) died when he was ten and Judge was like a second father to him. Judge never talked much about the Bell family he spoke highly of his grandmother Mary Brookins.
