Edmund Taylor did not graduate from medical school. He was licensed to practice medicine in Ashley County Arkansas. See attached medical license for more information. He remarried after Sarah passed away. His second wife's name is Ida Bell Austin Scott. He died in 1917 from a gun shot wound thought to be perpetrated by his stepsons. This was never proven.
His parents were Lewis Ananias Brantley and Isabella Weakley Duke.
Note: His tombstone has his date of birth as 1850. His death certificate has his date of birth as April 4, 1848. The tombstone has his name spelled Edmond. Family records have the name as Edmund. I will update when more information is available.
