Herman Hansel, 71, a resident of Wilber died Wednesday, May 31, in a Crete hospital. He was born Aug 16., 1900 near Pickrell.
Survivors include his wife, Thresa of Wilber; one son, LaVern Hansel of Lincoln; one daughter, Mrs. Merle (Josephine) Wilken of Lincoln; two brothers, Fred Hansel of Firth and Herbert Hansel of Beatrice; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Emma) Doetker of Beatrice, Mrs. Bertha Taylor of Boulder, Colo.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joseph, Paul, Rudolph and William, and one sister, Martha Albers.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Zajicek Funeral Home in Wilber, Burial will be at the Adams Cemetery at Adams.
