Willard King Rites Saturday
ALEXANDRIA -- Willard R. King, formerly of Alexandria, died at his home in Largo, Fla.
He operated a garage in Frankton several years before being employed at Miller Motors, where he was employed 30 years prior to his retirement in 1956.
Survivors include the widow, Opal; a son, Rex of Fort Wayne, a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Langford, Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Arthur King, Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Johnson, Orestes and Mrs. Floyd Little, Elwood; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three step-sons, Leon Barber, Connersville; Jack and Robert Barber, both of Alexandria.
The body was taken to the Karl M. Kyle Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 o'clock Friday evening, and where final rites will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Hershel M. Reed, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery, Anderson.
