ALEXANDRIA--Arthur King, 73, 207 E. Sixth St., died Sunday at Community Hospital in Anderson after a brief illness. A native of Frankton, he lived in Alexandria for most of his life.

He retired from Delco Remy in 1966 after 25 years of service. He was a member of Joyce Chapel United Methodist Church, Alexandria Eagles Lodge, Anderson Moose Lodge, Family Campers Club of Anderson, Limberlost Wheelers Campers of Muncie, and Killbuck Retirees Club of Anderson.

Surviving are his wife, Irene Etsler King; two sons, Donald L. King, Anderson, and Howard King, Alexandria; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Karl M. Kyle Funeral Home with Rev. David A. Moore and Rev. Don Glenn officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Eagles Lodge will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
