Rose Johnson Dies Sunday, Rites Tuesday
ALEXANDRIA - Rose Z. Johnson, 85, died Sunday after a three day illness in Community hospital, Anderson. She resided at route three Alexandria.
Born in Madison county, August 27, 1884, she was the daughter of Thomas and Eliza Jane Johnson King.
She married Roll Johnson Nov. 8, 1902. He passed away in Oct. of 1969.
She is survived by three sons, Ferrol and Rollin Johnson, both of Alexandria and Glen of Indianapolis ; four daughters, Mrs. Hessel Morgan and Mrs. Melba Grose, both of Alexandria, Mrs. Lucia Salyer of Anderson and Mrs. Mabel Blake of Orestes; one brother, Arthur King of Alexandria; one sister, Mrs. Floy Little of Elwood; 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Karl M. Kyle funeral home with the Rev. Gary Colby officiating. Burial will be in the Park View cemetery. Friends will be received at the mortuary after 7 p.m. this evening.
