Funeral services for Roy D. Rose, age 67, of Winona, were held December 26, 2002 at Oliver Chapel in Winona with Rev. Ed McDaniel officiating. Burial was held at Oakwood Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Rose died December 23, 2002 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood. Mr. Rose was a retired employee of Screw Conveyor Corp. He was a member of North Winona Baptist Church in Winona.
Survivors were his wife, Betty Jo Durham Rose of Winona; son, Donald Rose of Winona; his mother, Travie A. Rose of Grenada; sisters, Laverne Downs and Allene Hentz, both of Grenada and Betty Lou Ware of Winona; and brothers, Gene L. Rose of Clermont, FL and Homer R. Rose of Hephzibah, GA.
Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his father, Jewel H. Rose.
Pallbearers were Barry Vance, Duane Vance, Johnny Bailey, Danny Bailey and James Allen.
