MARGARET EMMA OLSEN WESTON,
Loving Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully in Cardston, AB at the age of 98 years on September 20, 2019. Margaret was born February 5, 1921 in Cardston, to Frank Olsen and Emma Vance Olsen. She was the 3rd of their 9 children.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Ted; her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Margaret leaves to mourn her 9 children Marie (Dennis) Weston, Robert (Elizabeth) Weston, Kathy (Ray) Morgan, Ken (Donna) Weston, Melvin (Kim) Weston, Mike (Sharon) Weston, Kevin Weston (Heather), Don Weston, Cheryl (Roger) Scott, and will also be greatly missed by her 31 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her siblings Jean and Merlin.
Margaret married her beloved husband, Ted, on October 24, 1940 and had 66 wonderful years together. Margaret was truly an angel here on earth; she was a great example to all with her humble manner in which she served others, and made wonderful memories and traditions. She took great pleasure in providing for her family, gardening, quilting, berry picking, cooking for the masses and serving in her church callings. Margaret was a woman of strong faith and a kind heart.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta West Stake Centre, (846 -1 Ave West), Cardston, AB., on Friday, September 27, 2019. Friends may meet the family at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 am prior to the service.
Interment to follow in the Cardston Cemetery.
