George Barnett, whose illness has baffled physicians, died during Saturday after being unconscious for nearly 72 hours. Paralysis was announced as the cause of death. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday by Rev. C.E. King of the Methodist church. Burial will take place in West cemetery. He is survived by [three] brothers and a sister; J.D. Barnett, Enid, Oklahoma; C.G. Barnett, A.H. Barnett and Mrs. Mattie Killoren, all of Powhattan.
