Attending funeral services held Tuesday, Aug 11 in the Santaquin, Utah First Ward Chapel for James William Allen, 71, who died Aug 6 at his home after a heart attack, were Mr and Mrs Joseph Allen, Mr and Mrs William Taylor and Mrs Margaret Daugherty.
The deceased was a brother of Joseph Allen and Mrs (Leona) Taylor, both of Afton. Other brothers and sisters are J. Lavon Allen, Ogden Utah; Charles Allen Nampa, Idaho; Ella Cazier, Bakersfield Calif; Violet Nowland, Dingle, Idaho; Artella Thompson, Ogden, Utah; and Twila Erickson, Pendleton, Ore.
Survivors besides the above included his widow Myrtle Cloward Allen, five sons and four daughters and 40 grandchildren.
