Delores was born on October 13, 1920 in Stark County, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Colgan) Shane. She married Charles O. Donovan on August 16, 1941 in Wyoming at St. Dominic Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1990.
Surviving are four sons, Charles “Roger” (Sandra) Donovan of LasCruces, NM, Dennis (Kathy) Donovan of Cornell, Jeff (Linda) Donovan of Wyoming, and Kevin (Crystal) Donovan of Wyoming; one daughter, Jeanne (Steve) Foffel of Toulon; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Donovan and one daughter, Donna Hulsey.
Margaret was a long-time member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Wyoming and was a member of their altar and rosary society. She worked as a cook for the Wyoming school district and loved gardening.
Her funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Wyoming. Face masks and social distancing are encouraged. Fr. John Cyr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Dominic Catholic Cemetery. Haskell Funeral & Cremation Services in Wyoming is in charge of arrangements.
