Bio SOURCE: History of Cook County From the Earliest Period to the Present Time by A. T. Andreas.

William Clark was one of three children of Elizabeth Mckenzie and John Clark an English Officer. The other two were John Kinzie Clark and Sarah Clark. Sarah married William Eahart. William Clark was killed at the battle of the Thames on October 5, 1813 in Canada. The Shawnee Indian Chief Tecumseh was killed there also. I Have a different name for the son that was left behind. His name was Andrew and later in life became an "Aide De Camp" to Tecumpseh and died at his side in the Battle of Thames. He had a twin sister named Mary.So there were four children, not three. This information comes from the Lyman C. Draper Historical Collections, according to Betty Robinson.
