Martha Veranus Roberts Norwood, "Nan", was the wife of William Norwood and daughter of Isaac Roberts and Elizabeth Dunaway Roberts. She had no children but helped to raise Daniel Norwood.

Daniel "Duke" Norwood was probably a relative of her husband, William Norwood.

Neel News - Our hearts were made said on last Friday morning by the death of Mrs. Nannie Norwood. She had been sick a long time with consumption.
