BADEN – Funeral services for William Thomas Hoffman of Baden, and formerly of Ramey, who died Monday, April 26, 1993, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, were held Friday at the John Syka Funeral Home, Ambridge, with the Rev. John J. McClure officiating.

Interment was in the Bald Eagle Cemetery, Bald Eagle.

Born April 3, 1909, in Ramey, he was the son of the late William Franklin and Hattie (Balling) Hoffman.

Mr. Hoffman retired in 1973 from Armco Steel Corp., Ambridge, as a traffic manager after 45 years’ service.

He was a member of the Baden United Methodist Church and Syria Temple, Ambridge Masonic Lodge and Ambridge Country Club.

He is survived by a son, William J. Hoffman, M.D., four grandchildren; sister, Bertha Fulton; brother, J. Maurice Hoffman; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Dorothy McNaul in 1985; sisters, Julia and Gertrude; and brother, Ernest.
