Lorene Ewell Spence, 86, of the 1000 block of Little Neck Road, died June 26, 1993, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Spence was born in False Cape, Va. She was the widow of Clifton John Spence.
Mrs. Spence was a child of God.
Survivors include four daughters, Marjie S. Hickey, Margaret S. Harris, Lillian S. Waterfield and Amanda S. Calabrese, all of Virginia Beach; two sons, Chester H. Spence of Virginia Beach and Billy Ray Spence of Fort Smith, Ark.; 22 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel. Following graveside services the family will be at 1710 Mediterranean Ave., Virginia Beach 23451. "
