Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Brenda Waterfield DiPalma and husband, Bill, of Winter Haven FL, Robert Waterfield, Jr. of Bartow, FL, Terry Waterfield and wife, Brenda Gail, of Virginia Beach, John D. Waterfield of Lumberton, NC, and Bonnie Waterfield Hilson, and husband, James, of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, Thomas A. Grande, Terry L. Hudkins and wife, Nicole, and Anastasia Lillian Jean Waterfield Blankenship; her great grandchildren, Skye and Luna Salgado and Cheyenne Hudkins; two sisters, Margie Spence Hickey and Husband, Leon and Amanda Spence Calabrese and husband, Sam.
Mrs. Waterfield was the mother of six children. She worked at the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier Parking Lot for many years as well as the Dam Neck Base in the Mess Hall; but, her favorite and most loved job was caring for her children. She was a member of the Virginia Beach Moose Lodge, Chapter 1998 where she served in many capacities within the organization. She enjoyed county western music, her flowers, growing tomatoes and most of all watching her favorite soap opera, The Young and the Restless. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children every day. Our mother was the Best and Highly regarded by all that knew her and those that were lucky enough to meet her.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, July 3, 2017 at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
