Henry NEBEKER, Sr., son of George NEBEKER and Susannah MEREDITH, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the 1st January 1847 with John Murdock officating. He was married 4 times:

1. Florence WOOD on the 17 Aug 1843 in Edgar Co., Illinois
2. Harriet Ann VAN WAGONER on the 4 January 1847 at Winter Quarters (Florence), Douglas Co., Nebraska. They had 5 children together: Henry Jr., Ammon, George Washington, Florence, and Susannah. Henry took in 2 children from Harriet's first marriage: Mary Ann HAVENS and William Henry HAVENS. They also adopted an Indian boy by the name of John CUSH.
3. Rebecca HEATON on 22 July 1865 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah. They had 8 children together: Lovina Heaton, Samuel Meredith, Jedadiah, Wilford Franklin, Maggie Alberta, Francis Maude, Dora Selina, and a stillborn daughter.
4. Mary JONES. I don't have any information about this marriage as of yet. It was in my grandmother's information about her grandfather.
