Obituary of Jennie Mae Cantrell
Jennie Mae Cantrell 91 of Acworth passed away late Tuesday evening.
Funeral Services will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge in Kennesaw Friday at 2:00 P.M. with viewings Thursday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. also a viewing before her funeral services on Friday.
Born December 3, 1923 Jennie lived through many of the turbulent times the last century. She worked at Bell Bomber plant during the war effort of the forties. Later she worked with the Cobb County School System and eventually started a small floral business.
Jennie is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Cantrell, her parents James Ollie Canup and Elizabeth Newberry Canup, and her brothers George Canup, J.C. Canup, Carl Canup.
She is survived by her daughter Connie Mae Brown of Acworth and her sons Danny and Barbara Cantrell of Acworth and Alan and Barbara Cantrell of Marietta. Grand Children include Byron Vaughn, Chris Cantrell, Jennifer Meador, Jacob Cantrell, and Ashley Cantrell
