Mr. James M. Ashworth died of diabetes at his home at Goshen on Monday, March 11, 1918. He was an upright and honorable citizen. The remains were buried at Macedonia after funeral service by Rev. William Blalock.

Mr. James M. Ashworth, aged 52 years, 9 months and 6 days, died of diabetes at his home near Macedonia on Monday, March 11, 1918. He was baptized in infancy and took the vows of the M. E. Church, south, in 1885, when under the pastoral care of Rev. J. F. Beasley. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Wm. Blalock, burial at Macedonia.
