Funeral services were conducted Saturday in the chapel of Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green with the Rev. J. B. Pendergraft officiating.
Burial followed in the State Line Cemetery in Madison County, Ala.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late James and Sadie King Ashworth and a member of the West Huntsville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Hazel Alma Robertson of Hazel Green and Sara Frances Frees of Mayfield, Ky.; three sons, J. M. Shockley and Louis Edgar Shockley, both of Hazel Green, and Elmer Dean Shockley of Pompano Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
