Faye Louise Short, 75, of Fairbury, IL passed away at 8:50 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2020 at El Paso Health Care, El Paso, IL.

Cremation rites were accorded and a celebration of life with inurnment in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury will be held at a later date. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, EL Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.

Faye was born August 16, 1944 in Fairbury, IL the daughter of Henry Oliver and Sarah Daisey Dorothy Henderson Light. She married Robert E. Lee Short on August 19, 1962 at the Methodist Church in Fairbury. He died February 10, 2008.

Surviving are three children Kelly (Ralph) White of Oglesby, Robert E. Lee (Robyn) Short II of Chenoa, and Scott (Rachel Miller) Short of Odell; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Rosilla Taylor Casey and Glenna Burnside.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church, Fairbury. Faye was a loving mom, grandma, and great grandma who enjoyed spending time with her family.
