FAIRBURY - Rosilla E. Taylor-Casey, 49, of Fairbury, died at 2:35 p.m. yesterday (Sept. 20, 1988) at her home. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairbury Church of God, the Rev. Donald Woolf officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, and for one hour before the service at the church.
She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Fairbury, a daughter of Oliver and Sarah Henderson Light. She married Claude Russell Taylor on March 13, 1955 in Fairbury. They divorced in 1981. She married John M. Casey on May 22, 1987, in Fairbury. He survives.
Also surviving are a son, David Taylor, Fairbury; five daughters, Lynnette Taylor, Chicago; Renee Wenger, Strawn; Charisse Feeley, Aurora, Colo.; and Aimee Taylor, Braceville; two sisters, Glenna Burnside and Faye Short, both of Fairbury; and nine grandchildren.
Her parents and a grandson preceded her in death.
Mrs. Taylor-Casey was a member of the Fairbury Church of God and had been employed by Fairbury Hospital as a nurse's aide for a number of years. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Cancer Society tor to a charity of the donor's choice.
