Betty Jeanne Trobec was born on July 17, 1936. She is a graduate of Holdingford High School. She worked as a secretary doing clerical work for doctors in St. Cloud. Then she went on to work for the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce for over 21 years. On November 1, 1982 Betty became Corporate Secretary for her parents business, Trobec's Bus Service in St. Stephen, MN. Following her brother's retirement, Betty became the CEO of Trobec's Bus Service on January 24, 2006.

Betty has been a great friend and mentor to many and an active member in her community. Her love for music lead to her long-standing position as organist at the St. Stephen Catholic Church. She began her role as organist with the Easter Mass of her 8th grade year and continued through 2015. As a member of the St. Stephen Parish, Betty served on many committees. She was a City of St. Stephen council member for 12 years. Betty's love for flowers was evident by the beautiful display in her yard each spring and summer.
She died at Quiet Oaks Hospice House on April 22, 2016. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, April 30th at the St. Stephen Catholic Church in St. Stephen.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Frances Trobec and brother-in-law, Lewis Gohman.
