Tony was born in St. Stephen to Frank and Anna (Schumer) Trobec. He married Frances Ziebol on October 16, 1934 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Tony operated a feed grinder for local farmers, he also worked as a heavy equipment operator for Martin Fruth Construction and later as a mechanic for Megarry Brothers Contractors. He and his wife Frances founded Trobec's Bus Service in 1938.
He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, 1 son and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
