Frances Trobec, age 97, died at Country Manor Health Care and Retirement Center in Sartell. She was born in St. Cloud to Mathias and Anna (Pawletta) Ziebol. She grew up in St. Cloud and attended St. Cloud Teachers College. Frances taught school in rural schools around the St. Stephen area where she met Anton (Tony) Trobec. They were married on October 16, 1934 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. They spent the rest of their married life in St. Stephen. Frances raised her three children and in 1938, she and Tony co-founded Trobec's Bus Service. Frances drove a mini-bus and also was a substitute school teacher. She enjoyed traveling with Tony and loved music, especially hearing her grandchildren sing and watching them perform.

She is survived by her 3 children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; half brothers and sisters, James (Jean) Ziebol, Mesa, AZ; Mary Ann (Peter) Hulth, Smithfield, SC; Virginia Lyon, Waite Park; Kay Schnobrich, Sartell; Betty Olson, St. Paul; Robert (Sharon) Siebol, Beloit, WI and Irene (Bill) Stearns, Piney Point, MD.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents, her brothers Edmund Ziebol and Arthur Ziebol and her half-sisters, Margaret Hennek and Lois McKibben.
