Born March 14, 1929, in Vienna, MO, she was the daughter of the late Homer Lusby and Florence Shockley Lusby. She married Paris "Buddy" Pollard Jr. who preceded her in death on June 4, 1973. On April 26, 1975, she married Conley "Dutch" Ahrens who preceded her in death on February 4, 2015. She lived in Marshall most of her life and worked at Fitzgibbon Hospital and Marshall Habilitation Center. She was a member of Gill Memorial Baptist Church. She liked to work in her yard, plant flowers and drink coffee on the front deck.
