DAVIS: Wilbur Thomas, son of the late Wilbur Fisk and Mary Ella Barnett-Davis, was born at Indian Creek, Virginia February 27, 1885 and died December 28, 1943 at Fleet's Bay Neck, Virginia.
In 1917 he was married to Ruby Brooks Horsley. To this union were born one son and two daughters: Arthur Brooks
Davis, Mrs. F. E. Thumwood, and Margaret Louise Davis, all of whom survive.
At the age of 20 he united with the Seventh-day Adventist Church of which he remained a faithful member until the
time of his death. The funeral service was conducted by the writer, assisted by D. B. Myers.
