She was born in Arapkir, Turkey in the Ottoman Empire. A family tree made by her brother gave her date of birth as 1869 and death year as 1900. There is no indication of it she was married and nothing further is known about her. Her parents died a week apart of typhoid in 1892 and she would have lived through the terrible Hamidian Massacres which struck Arapkir in the fall of 1895 and the family home was burned along with many other Armenian homes and businesses. While the location of her burial cannot be confirmed, it is said Armenian Apostolic Christians at the time were buried around the Sourp Asdvadzadzin Cathedral so she is listed there on a presumption.
